Biscuit Bear may look like a tiny bear cub, but she is really a cuddle bug wrapped in fluff. This sweet girl loves being held, curling up in her foster’s lap, and soaking up all the affection she can get. She is playful, intelligent, entertaining, and determined in the best way, but her favorite place will always be close to her person. Watch her video and fall in love with her personality: This cutie is Biscuit. She is approximately two month old and does not even weigh 6 pounds yet. Based on the size of those paws, though, we have a feeling she is going to be a big girl when she is all grown up! We believe she may be a Husky mix, but with animal rescue, breeds are always a mystery and never an exact science. Biscuit is currently being fostered with her brother, and the two of them love playing together. There is also a Pug in the home, and Biscuit is happily learning the ropes from her big foster “brother.” She enjoys playing with toys and carrying them around, but once playtime is over, she is ready to climb into her foster’s lap for cuddles. For such a young puppy, Biscuit is already showing everyone just how smart she is. Her foster was shocked by how quickly she learned to use puppy pads! She is also beginning to learn what a crate is and currently sleeps in one at night. She is still just a baby, so her future family will need to continue working on crate training, potty training, boundaries, and daily socialization as she grows. Biscuit came from one of the most at-risk regions in the country. Texas is in a state of crisis, with overcrowded shelters being forced to make heartbreaking decisions every day. Adopting Biscuit saves her while also opening space for another dog who desperately needs it. Puppies grow quickly, and so does their need for structure and consistency. We require all puppy adopters to begin crate training immediately, as it plays an important role in potty training, developing independence, and creating a safe, predictable routine. Continued socialization both inside and outside the home will also help Biscuit grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog. Biscuit Bear is ready to fill her forever home with fluffy snuggles, puppy kisses, playful moments, and all the lap cuddles her family can handle. Ready to be her hero? Apply today!
