Bruno Corgi Supersized is here for everyone who has ever looked at a corgi and thought, “Love it. Wish there was more of it.” At 62 pounds, Bruno delivers the extra-large corgi experience, complete with a bouncy personality, a little sparkle in his eye, and fur so soft you’ll need someone else to confirm that you’re not imagining it. We have no scientific explanation for this dog. We just love him! Go watch Bruno on YouTube to see all that happy-boy charm and please watch for his little toothy smile. He scrunches up his eyes and shows his teeth when you’re talking to him, and it is very hard not to giggle at him when he does it. Copy and paste his YouTube link into your browser: Bruno is estimated to be two years old, and while his actual breed mix is a mystery, “supersized corgi” seems like a perfectly reasonable working theory. His age and breed are our best guesses, but we’ve spent enough time with him to know that he is very good company and a true bestest-boy. He is wonderful with other dogs and has such a lovely way of adjusting to whoever he’s with. A friend who wants to wrestle and play rough? Bruno is ready. A gentler dog who wants a softer game? He can do that, too. And if another dog would rather play fetch, Bruno will happily trot along behind while they chase the ball. He enjoys being included without needing to take over the game. That easygoing nature goes places, too. Bruno recently attended a blessing of the animals at a Catholic school, where there were children running around being kids, other dogs, horses, goats, and cats in carriers. He handled the busy outing beautifully. From what we’ve seen, kids are welcome, and it was so nice to watch him enjoy himself with so much happening around him. Ready to hit the road? With Bruno getting there is easy- open the car door, and Bruno happily hops in and settles into the back seat. He’s a great passenger and walks nicely on leash, making him a fun buddy for regular outings, neighborhood walks, and little adventures together. At home, Bruno has lovely basic house manners and knows how to relax. He can get himself onto the couch or a tall bed, which is convenient because he would very much like to snuggle next to you. He has plenty of energy for play, but once things settles down, he’s happy to do the same. He sleeps wonderfully through the night, too. And then there’s that fur. You might look at Bruno and admire his cute face without realizing what awaits you when you pet him. He is unbelievably soft! A quick scratch easily turns into sitting beside him for another twenty minutes, rubbing his chest and telling him what a good boy he is. Bruno fully supports this use of your time and will let you know with those warm eyes of his that he appreciates you. He would be a wonderful addition to a home with other dogs, but he could also be happy as your only dog, with his person, regular outings, and plenty of opportunities to play and explore. He’s affectionate, joyful, and easy to enjoy. After spending time with him, we’re comfortably giving Bruno a 12 out of 10. Start the process of bringing Bruno home by applying here: Questions?
