Chloe Peach wakes up every day convinced that life is wonderful and everyone she meets is about to become her new best friend. She is overflowing with sweetness, affection, and happy puppy energy, and she has never met a stranger. Whether she is getting the zoomies outside, snuggling beside her people, or flashing that precious little face for another treat, Chloe is simply thrilled to be included. Her foster describes her as an absolutely lovely puppy and the kind of girl who could grow into the perfect family dog. Watch her video and fall in love with this sweet, happy girl: Chloe is approximately 4 months old and currently weighs around 45 pounds, so she is already a big puppy with plenty of growing left to do! We believe she may be a German Shepherd mix, but with animal rescue, breed and age are always a mystery and our best guesses. This girl is as friendly as can be and truly wants to love everyone. She is very sweet, affectionate, playful, and always happy to be alive. Chloe loves to snuggle with her people and would happily soak up all the love her future family is willing to give her. She has also spent time around children as young as approximately 4 years old, and her foster believes she would make a wonderful addition to a family with kids. Chloe is dog friendly and has done wonderfully with every dog we have introduced her to. She is currently fostered with an older, spicy Chihuahua and tries her absolute hardest to convince him to be her friend. Unfortunately for Chloe, the little guy simply is not the playful type! She does not let it hurt her feelings, but we believe she would be incredibly happy to have a playful dog friend in her forever home. When Chloe plays, she plays like a typical puppy. Her playstyle is bouncy, carefree, a little mouthy, and adorably clumsy. She is still learning how to use those long legs of hers, which only makes watching her play even more entertaining. Chloe also met our house cat, Biggie, and handled the introduction beautifully. She was appropriate and very respectful around him. She did not chase him and was not bothered when he jumped around or did all the unpredictable things cats tend to do. Biggie also felt comfortable in her presence. We do not know whether Chloe has ever lived with a cat, and this was our first time seeing her interact with one. If you have a cat at home, we can arrange for Chloe to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Chloe is crate trained and continuing to become more comfortable spending time in her crate. She sleeps in it throughout the night and also uses it occasionally during the day. If she knows you are home, she may use her little voice to remind you that she is in there because she would much rather be a part of whatever you are doing. She does settle after some time, but being included is definitely her favorite place to be. She is still young and learning where the appropriate potty places are, but she is picking it up quickly. Chloe may have an occasional accident if she is not taken outside frequently, so her new family should be prepared to continue helping her build a consistent routine. Smart, treat motivated, and eager to please, Chloe seems like she will be an incredibly fun puppy to train. She already knows how to sit and is always happy to work for a tasty reward. She loves toys and is great about entertaining herself with them. Like any puppy, she also has some natural chewing tendencies, so providing plenty of appropriate toys and continued guidance will help her make good choices as she grows. Chloe loves being outside, running around, stretching her long legs, and showing off her impressive puppy zoomies. We believe she would thrive in a home with a backyard where she has space to play and burn off some energy. She is also a great car rider and stays nice and quiet during the trip, making her an excellent companion for family outings and future adventures. Chloe has all the ingredients to become an incredible family dog. She is friendly, intelligent, affectionate, playful, and so eager to love and be loved. With a family ready to continue her puppy training, include her in everyday life, and give her plenty of room to play, this sweet-faced girl is going to grow into one truly special best friend.
