Conrad Snuggle Sprout is a little guy with a gentle heart who just needs some time to let his personality bloom. At 9 months old and 15 pounds, this adorable Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix is still learning to feel comfortable around new people. He may be shy when you first meet him, but give him some patience and a little space, and you'll begin to see just how sweet he can be. One of the things that helps Conrad feel most comfortable is being around his dog friends. Their company seems to give him confidence, and he becomes more approachable when he has familiar canine companions nearby. He enjoys spending time outdoors, where he seems happiest exploring his surroundings and enjoying the fresh air. Although Conrad prefers being outside, he also appreciates the quieter moments indoors. He enjoys being petted and spending time on the couch once he feels comfortable. There's something especially sweet about watching a shy little dog begin to relax and enjoy the attention he's been given. Conrad has also shown glimpses of a playful side, but he's not quite ready to show off his whole personality just yet. As he continues to settle in and build trust, there's a good chance his future family will discover even more of his fun, curious nature. This sweet boy would do well with someone who understands that building a bond takes time. A patient family willing to let him adjust at his own pace would give him the opportunity to feel safe and secure.
