Meet Dustin Doolittle! Dustin is a sweet, attentive boy who is blossoming a little more every day. He’s still coming out of his shell, but he’s a bit more confident than his sister, Margo, and he watches the world around him with bright, thoughtful eyes. He’s the kind of pup who pays attention to his people, tuning in to what you’re doing and checking in along the way. Dustin currently lives in a foster home with other dogs, and he’s doing wonderfully. He shares his space with Margo, and the two play well together even though they’re both still adjusting to life in their foster home. Having a playmate has helped build his confidence, and it shows in the way he’s growing more comfortable with each new day. His foster lives a very full, busy life and works in an office, and the siblings often go to work with her. Dustin is getting used to being a busy body and a road dog, soaking up new people, places, and routines along the way. That kind of everyday adventure has been great for his confidence, and it makes him a natural fit for an active family. He’ll be a great adventure pal for someone who wants a sidekick for errands, outings, and everything in between. At just 4 months old, Dustin is still learning about the world, and a loving, soft introduction is recommended when he meets new people and places. Give him a little time to take it all in at his own pace, and his sweet, attentive nature will shine. His Pointer and Pittie mix suggests he’ll grow into a smart, active boy, so playtime, exercise, and gentle training are suggested as he grows. Dustin would do well in a home with another dog, since he’s used to having canine company, or with a family who is ready to give him plenty of love and patience. He’s looking for a gentle, encouraging person to call his own and a family who will celebrate every little step forward. Could that be you? Questions?
