Dypso Dipsy Doze deserves a Gold Star in Couch Potato Excellence. This senior girly is loving, lazy, and very comfortable with her priorities: find a cozy spot, settle in, and get up if someone opens the treats (maybe.) Adopting her means getting to fast-track straight to the couch potato days, with a sweet girl who will happily keep you company through an entire afternoon of doing very little if thats the agenda. Go watch Dypso on YouTube to meet this lovely lady—and appreciate a dog who sees absolutely no reason to rush through her day. Copy and paste her YouTube link into your browser: Dypso is nine years old, though her age is our best guess. She moves at a leisurely pace but is still quite capable of joining you for an outing. A higher car might call for a little boost, and once she’s aboard, she’s a wonderful passenger. A nice drive followed by a nice nap? That’s a full itinerary. She’s confident and easygoing, happily accepting affection without making it your full-time job. Give her some love and she’ll enjoy it; if you’re busy, she can find somewhere comfortable to lie down on her own. There’s something awfully nice about a dog who enjoys your company and also understands that sometimes everyone just needs to sit quietly. Dypso does well with other dogs and most enjoys slower-paced companions who share her appreciation for personal space and lounging. A calm friend to snooze nearby would suit her beautifully. She can share treats and attention, and she’d appreciate dog friends who let her relax when she’s ready. She currently lives with Groot, a friend she’s spent most of her life alongside. They can be adopted separately, but if your household happens to have room for two, Dypso and Groot would love to be considered together. There could be a very sweet pair of familiar faces waiting to settle into your home. Dypso knows sit and takes treats gently, so snack time is a polite little affair. She may be deeply committed to resting, but she is willing to stand up for a worthy cause. And a treat is a worthy cause. For someone who loves a quiet companion, an easy car ride, and a dog whose idea of a good afternoon looks a lot like their own, Dypso has plenty to offer. A comfortable spot, some affection, and a few snacks would make a lovely start to her next chapter. Apply to adopt Dypso here: Questions?
