Meet Frog the Swamp Prince! Frog is a handsome black-on-black pup with the fluffiest tail you have ever seen and ears that reach straight to heaven. Between that plume of a tail and those sky-high ears, he’s a sight to see, and he’s every bit as fun as he looks. His sleek dark coat makes him look like a little shadow, right up until that big fluffy tail starts wagging and gives him away. Frog was found with his brother, Toad, and the two have shared quite a journey together. Where Toad is the more outgoing one of the pair, Frog is happy to let his personality unfold in his own time. He’s a sweet, playful boy who shines once he feels comfortable, and his bright, goofy side is well worth the wait. Frog is also a vocal guy, and he’s not shy about sharing his opinions. Whether he’s chatting, announcing his latest thoughts, or letting you know it’s time for attention, he’ll keep you well informed. As his name suggests, he loves to be treated like a prince. He soaks up being held and affirmed from time to time, and a few kind words and a good cuddle will have him glowing like royalty. Frog is playful with small dogs and would do best in a home with small canine company. He enjoys having a buddy his own size to romp and chase with, and he’s recommended for a home with kids, where he can be a loyal sidekick for backyard games, walks around the block, and every adventure in between. Kids and Frog will have plenty to talk about, mostly with wagging tails. His Border Collie smarts and Chihuahua charm make him a fun, lovable mix. He’s likely to enjoy having things to figure out, like new games, puzzle toys, and learning new tricks, and regular playtime and mental stimulation are recommended to keep his bright mind and happy spirit well fed. When the fun winds down, he’s just as happy to curl up next to his favorite person and soak up some affection. Frog would be an amazing adventure buddy, a kid’s sidekick, or your next best friend. He’s looking for a home with plenty of love, room to play, and a family to call his own. Could that be you? Interested in meeting Frog? Contact kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org.
