As with any rescue dog, his exact breed is always a mystery, but our best guess is he's a Chihuahua mix. Whatever combination created him also gave him the sweetest personality and the cutest little body to match. If you're looking for an easygoing companion, Herbie checks just about every box. He's calm, affectionate, and happiest simply spending time with his people. Whether you're reading a book, watching TV, working from home, or enjoying a quiet evening on the couch, Herbie is more than happy to be right there with you. His foster shared that her favorite thing about him is just how sweet and cuddly he is, along with the way he seems so genuinely grateful to be loved. Herbie has lived in a foster home with several other dogs of all different sizes and energy levels, and he's been an absolute gentleman. While the younger, more playful dogs are busy wrestling and zooming around the house, Herbie's usually content sitting nearby, watching the fun, or doing his own thing. He's friendly with other dogs but doesn't feel the need to be in the middle of all the excitement. Herbie loves toys as much as your lap!
