Little miss Leoni Roe has an affinity for fetch and a deep love for all of people. If she could have it her way, she would be in bed with her person and favorite toy. Leoni is so good at entertaining herself! Leoni's foster is teacher so she is regularly crated from 8-4 every day. The cutest thing about Leoni is how much she loves to play fetch! This sweet girl will chase a tennis ball all day if you let her. Extra bonus points if the ball squeaks! Leoni is also great going out and about town! She is a great car rider and has a special leash that makes her easy to walk. She lays right down, and patiently waits to have her door to be opened. Her adventures include going to park, taking a walk in the neighborhood and stopping for her favorite thing----- a pup cup! Kids are also a plus for this girl. Her new bestie, is a 1 year old, who shares her cake pop with her! No wonder Leoni loves her! Leoni has the best manners with kids as she doesn't snatch food or jump up on them. Leoni's gentle and sweet nature leads us to believe she will be a great family dog. She loves her people, kids and toys. While the kids watch tv she lays near by throwing her toys for herself while still making time to check in for some love. After all of that fun, she will lay down for more snuggles. Sweet Leoni is estimated to be 3 years old. We think Leoni is a Staffie/Pittie mix but she is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses. Fall in love with Leoni here: Leoni has has amazing house manners too. She’s a fast learner, food motivated, and a gentle treat taker! She knows how to “sit” for treats, and takes direction from her person well. Super affectionate and loving, Leoni is quick to give you kisses. We think she would thrive as your one and only princess. Leoni is dog friendly and she has been introduced to a variety of dogs. Leoni isn't super interested or wants to interact with other dogs. She is the type that just likes to hangout and explore the yard, do her own thing, or hang out with her people. She is much more of a people's dog than a dog's dog. Don’t worry, she does great on walks when she sees other dogs, and she’s a great dog to take to places with you! If you have anything specific to your home or your life style and would to see how Leoni Roe would do, let us know! We make anything happen in order to ensure she is the perfect match for you! Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
