Lovey Dovey has a little bubble lip that sticks out like she’s waiting for a kiss, and honestly, we’re happy to oblige. Add in her adorably goofy expressions and mini-sized body, and you have a girl who can make you smile just by looking at you. Then her personality kicks in, and suddenly that cute face is inviting you to play, showing off for a treat, and making an ordinary afternoon a whole lot more fun. Watch her video and fall in love with this little girl: Lovey is approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 30 pounds. Our best guess is that she’s a pittie mix, possibly with a little Frenchie or bully mixed in, because this girl comes in a very cute, compact package! Of course, with animal rescue, breed is always a bit of a mystery. What we do know is that her little face deserves its own fan club. Lovey is sweet, affectionate, social, and full of life. She approaches the world with an enthusiasm that makes you want to join in, whether she’s playing with a toy, spending time with people, or finding out what fun is happening next. Imagine this little girl tagging along on your adventures, making you laugh during backyard playtime, and soaking up your affection afterward. She brings plenty of personality to the everyday moments, and that little lip makes it awfully hard to take her seriously when she’s being extra cute. Lovey is dog friendly and participates in playgroups with other dogs at the rescue every day. She enjoys playful, confident dogs who appreciate a good game of chase and don’t mind her enthusiastic approach to having fun. A compatible male dog could be a great match for her, especially one who enjoys a lively playmate. She would also be equally happy as your one-and-only princess, with all the love and attention to herself. A cat-free home would be best for this girl. Lovey loves treats, knows how to sit, and is a smart little girl who seems to find so much joy in learning something new. Give her a chance to work that mind, and you’ll get to see how much she enjoys figuring things out with you. She also loves playing with toys, so there are plenty of ways to make time together fun! Structure, consistency, and positive guidance help her shine and give her a clear understanding of what you’re asking. She is crate trained and does well in her kennel. Lovey is also potty trained and generally understands where the appropriate potty places are. She may have an occasional accident if she has had to wait a really long time, but for the most part, she has a good handle on her potty habits. A consistent routine and regular breaks will help her settle into her new home. Lovey would do best with a semi-active family who wants a dog to have fun with. A little adventure, a little backyard play, some time learning together, and plenty of affection sound like her kind of life. A home with a backyard would suit her better than an apartment, giving her space to enjoy those playful moments with her people. If your days could use a little more laughter, a whole lot of sweetness, and a tiny bubble lip you’ll never get tired of seeing, Lovey might be your girl. She’s ready for a family who will love her happy heart just as much as that ridiculously cute face. We are wiling to test Lovey Dovey with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match.
