Meet Margo Mango Tango! Margo is a gentle, affectionate girl who is happiest right next to her human. Whether she’s curled up beside you or following along to see what you’re up to, she’s a sweet shadow who loves being close to her person. She’s also a playful, curious puppy who loves to explore, sniff out new things, and turn everyday moments into little adventures. Margo currently lives in a foster home with other dogs, and she’s doing wonderfully but is still coming out of her shell! Her foster works in an office, and Margo gets socialization time, which has helped her grow into a friendly pup. At just 4 months old, Margo is still learning about the world, and a loving, soft introduction is recommended when she meets new people and places. Give her a little time to take it all in at her own pace, and her sweet, snuggly nature will shine. Her Pointer and Pittie mix suggests she’ll grow into a smart, active girl, so playtime, exercise, and gentle training are suggested as she grows. Margo would do well in an apartment or a house, as long as she gets a good balance of play and cuddles. She would also do well in a home with another dog, since she’s used to having canine company, or with a family who is ready to give her plenty of love and attention. At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress! We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
