Marley Sunshine is the kind of dog who makes you smile before he even does anything. At just 8 months old and around 51 pounds, this Lab/Pitty mix is a big, goofy puppy with the floppiest ears, gorgeous honey-green eyes, and the biggest smile you've ever seen. And those ears? They deserve their own fan club. They bounce when Marley plays, flop when he runs, and somehow make his already-silly personality even cuter. Watch Marley's personality shine in his video! Marley is happiest when he's having fun. He LOVES his dog friends and has the funniest way of playing with them. Expect adorable play bows, boot-scoot zoomies, goofy puppy antics, and a whole lot of “COME PLAY WITH ME!” energy. He does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, from tiny puppies to big playmates, and would absolutely love having a canine sibling in his forever home. Then there are the toys. Marley is a certified toy enthusiast. Stuffies? YES. Balls? YES. A random toy he found on the couch? Absolutely. He doesn't need much to make him happy—just give this boy a toy and he'll entertain himself like it's the greatest treasure in the world. Once Marley gets to know you, his sweet side really comes out. He's affectionate, loves attention, and is especially fond of a good booty scratch. He's the kind of dog who wants to be part of your life, whether that's playing in the yard, hanging out on the couch, going for a walk, or simply being near his favorite people. Marley would love a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs, run around, play with his toys, and occasionally share his very important opinions with the neighborhood. He has plenty of puppy energy and would thrive with a family ready to give him outlets for all that silliness while continuing his training and helping him grow into the amazing adult dog he's going to be. He's also been introduced to a cat and did well overall. He was curious and friendly while still showing some caution, and he was able to walk away on his own. Because Marley is still learning and getting comfortable with new things, additional in-home cat testing will help us better understand how he'd do living with one. Marley may be a 50-pound puppy, but underneath those giant ears and goofy zoomies is a genuinely sweet boy who just wants to have fun, make friends, collect toys, and love his people. Basically, if your dream dog is part comedian, part cuddlebug, part professional toy collector, and 100% adorable, Marley would like to know when he can move in.
