Ocho Good Time Guy brings his whole head to the introduction. It’s a substantial head, usually wearing a great big smile, and he would appreciate it if you gave it a little scratch. This blocky bulldog boy loves people, loves toys, and approaches making friends with the happy confidence of someone who assumes he’s not only on the guest list but maybe even the guest of honor. Go watch Ocho on YouTube to see that smile in action, meet his playful side, and find out why he made himself so popular around here. Ocho has that classic bulldog charm- a sturdy build, an expressive face, and a wonderfully silly way of going about life. We’re guessing he’s an American Bulldog mix, though his breed is our best guess. His enthusiasm for a good time, however, is undeniable. Meeting new people is one of his specialties. Ocho happily welcomes everyone he meets- inside and outside the hous. He enjoys the attention and making himself right at home in your lap. He’s generous with his affection and may occasionally use a little bulldog momentum to get closer for some love. Once the greetings are handled, though, he’s perfectly happy to find something else to enjoy. A toy, for instance. Has anyone checked on the toys? Ocho will! He’s a big fan of other dogs, too! Ocho enjoys running, playing, and getting right into the fun. His play has some classic bully bounce and body contact, making a sturdy, playful dog who enjoys that same style a lovely match. He has done well with big male dogs and has been easygoing about other dogs expressing their opinions. While he likes little dogs, his best playmates will be closer to his size and ready for his enthusiastic approach to play. Ocho could happily join a compatible dog household or soak up life as your one and only. A home with room to romp, toys to investigate, and people who enjoy a cheerful, physical dog would suit him well. He’s still polishing his leash manners, again very bulldog-standard and a little consistency will help all that friendliness arrive with four paws on the floor. His introduction to our house cat was promising- Ocho gave him a sniff and then found other things more interesting. We’re continuing to learn about his potential with feline friends, so a potential home with a cat would need further assessment - aka a sleepover with our Kitty Committee and thoughtful introductions. There’s a reason Ocho collected so many fans here. He’s fun to spend time with. He’ll join the game, welcome the company, and happily accept some love along the way. If your household has an opening for a big smile with a bulldog block-head attached, Ocho would love to be yours! Ready to make the first move? Apply here- Questions?
