Olivia is such a love bug! Now almost seven months old, she is quickly outgrowing kitten shenanigans and growing into her “I love my people” era. Olivia enjoys her foster home with three other cats, a dog, and three adult humans, but what she would love is a home and a family to call her own forever. She’s a gorgeous, creamy brown tabby with high definition stripes. She has a long, elegant tail, and her fur is silky smooth. She hops right into her foster mom’s lap at every opportunity, making biscuits giving gentle head boops, and purring nonstop. Aside from her humans, Olivia loves other cats. She was the first of her siblings to befriend her foster family’s resident tomcat (a six year old weighing around 19 pounds). Watch her YouTube video now Olivia also loves her toys. Anything has the potential to be a toy, but she particularly enjoys strings, springs, and boxes. And crinkly paper. And feet under the sheets of the bed. And...well, you get the idea, she can make anything into a toy. She also thoroughly enjoys her cat tree, preferring to sleep at one of the higher levels. Olivia has mastered the perfect balance between playful energy and soft, melt-into-your-arms affection. She does take her time (a few days) to settle into new environments, but once she’s had a chance to observe (and maybe been offered a few Temptation treats or maybe a little tube of tuna or salmon purée), she’ll know you’re her kind of person. Although she doesn’t live with kids, she has been tested with three kids all at once (ages 7, 10, and 13) and did great. Her ideal home would probably include at least one other cat and a human (or two) who will happily have her in their lap for at least an hour per day. Oh, and while she’s there, you can be eating, working, relaxing or even sleeping. She just wants to snuggle with you. Application: Questions? The adoption fee is $600 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
