Meet Ophelia Love Story, a petite little lady with impeccable manners and a very important request: please keep the pets coming. 💕 Ophelia is a sweet, confident girl who knows exactly what she likes and what she likes is YOU. She’ll happily seek you out when she’s ready for some love, politely requesting pets and scratches before settling into your lap or curling up right beside you. Personal space? She’s heard of it. She just prefers yours. She has a playful side, but she believes in moderation. Ophelia will enjoy a little play session, have her fun, and then promptly return to her regularly scheduled programming: being a chill, classy little lady. She’s not a high-energy kitty who needs constant entertainment; she’s much more interested in hanging out with her people and enjoying the good life. Ophelia showed off her confidence right away, exploring comfortably without feeling the need to run off and hide. She’s affectionate without being chaotic, playful without being wild, and just independent enough to make you feel extra special when she comes looking for you. If your idea of the perfect cat is a petite, confident cuddle buddy who wants to be wherever you are, Ophelia may be ready to claim the spot beside you. 🩷🐾 Ready to give Ophelia Love Story the lap she deserves? Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
