Meet Remi Ark, a lovable teddy bear with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and absolutely no intention of sitting on the sidelines when there’s fun to be had. Remi is a lover boy through and through. He adores his people, loves attention, and has all the sweetness you could ask for in a family companion. But don’t let that teddy-bear exterior fool you—when playtime starts, Remi is ready to PLAY. At the rescue, Remi is known as a total playgroup goofball. Put him together with his dog friends and his silly side comes out in full force. He loves running around, wrestling, romping, and getting everyone involved in the fun. Remi definitely has a rough-and-rowdy play style, so he especially enjoys canine friends who appreciate his enthusiastic approach to playtime. This boy needs plenty of opportunities to stay active and keep busy. He would thrive with a family that can give him time to exercise, play, explore, and keep that busy brain entertained. If your idea of a good time includes getting outside, staying active, and having a four-legged sidekick along for the adventure, Remi would happily volunteer for the position. Remi does great with other dogs, and a playful canine companion who can match his energy could be a fantastic fit. He loves having other dogs to interact with and has a blast during his playgroups at the rescue. Remi has even met the resident house cat during his cat test, and his reaction was refreshingly uneventful. He seemed largely indifferent to the cat and wasn’t particularly interested in making a big deal out of having a feline nearby. Because Remi plays with his whole body and doesn’t believe in doing things halfway, a home without small children would be the best fit for him. His enthusiasm could simply be too much for little ones. He would be much better matched with a family that can comfortably handle his energy and rowdy style of fun. Once the playing is done, though, you’re still left with that lovable teddy bear. Remi genuinely loves his people and has so much affection to give. He isn’t just looking for somewhere to burn off energy—he’s looking for people to belong to. Remi Ark would make a wonderful companion for an active family looking for a sweet, social, dog-friendly boy who can turn playgroup into a party and then come back to his people for plenty of love. If you have room in your life for a big teddy bear, a playgroup goofball, and a lover boy all rolled into one, Remi Ark might just be your guy.
