This sweet girl has that easygoing, go-with-the-flow personality that makes spending time with her feel so natural. She is loving, affectionate, and a little social butterfly who is happy to be included in whatever her people are doing. A day out making memories or a cozy evening curled up together, Rexa is here for all of it. With animal rescue, breed and age are usually a mystery, but this girl has a fun exception! Her fosters did a DNA test, so we actually know she has Siberian Husky and American Staffordshire Terrier in her mix. How cool is that?! The most special thing about Rexa is how sweet and easygoing she is. She loves being loved on and has that wonderful balance of being ready for an adventure while also appreciating some good cuddle time at home. Imagine having a buddy for your outings and then coming home to that same sweet girl ready to settle in beside you. She really is the best of both worlds. Rexa loves to be outside and she would absolutely love for her forever home to have a nice big backyard where she can roam, stretch her legs, and relax in the sun like the majestic snow queen she is. She is very dog friendly and has done great with all the dogs we have introduced her to. Her favorite playmates are dogs with happy-go-lucky personalities who like to play but also know when it’s time for a break. She also appreciates being with pups that are not too pushy with their play. Rexa enjoys romping around the yard with other dogs, playing a game of “tag, you’re it,” and occasionally enjoying relaxed, respectful play with the right dog. If you don’t have other dogs, Rexa is totally fine with that. She is always happiest when she is surrounded by her favorite people and she loves everyone! While she will happily spend time with another dog that matches her vibe, her eyes light up when she’s getting loved on and she doesn’t need the company of another dog to feel secure. Besides, we don’t think she’ll mind being the center of your attention anyway. She’ll soak it all up like the pampered princess she secretly is. Rexa also has a playful, smart side! She loves toys, enjoys treats, and already knows how to sit and shake. And honestly, who can resist a girl who will offer you her paw for a little snack? Practicing her skills is a fun way to spend time together and give that clever brain of hers something to do. Her foster shares that Rexa has wonderful house manners and considers her fully potty trained. She is also crate trained and has even walked right into her kennel on her own before. Although she does not regularly use a crate in her foster home, she is comfortable in one when she does. Rexa isn’t just looking for a home, she’s looking for her people. The ones who are ready for a steady, loyal companion who will greet you with a wagging tail, settle in beside you after a long day, ride calmly in the car, and quietly become the best decision you’ve ever made.
