If you've ever wished your dog could tell you exactly what was on his mind... Riley Sweets is more than happy to make that dream come true. This adorable little guy has something to say about just about everything, and honestly, it's one of the funniest things about him. Hear a noise outside? Riley has a comment. Another dog starts playing? Riley has a comment. Someone walks into the room? Riley has a comment. Sometimes it even seems like he just enjoys hearing himself talk, and we can't help but laugh. His foster says he's basically the perfect dog... except for the fact that he's convinced every thought deserves to be shared out loud. We happen to think it's part of his charm, but it's also why we know he'd be happiest in a home rather than an apartment where his running commentary won't bother the neighbors. Watch his video and prepare to fall in love with this hilarious little chatterbox: Riley is believed to be approximately 6 months old and currently weighs about 17 pounds. As with any rescue puppy, his exact breed is always a mystery, but our best guess is he's a Boxer and Pittie mix. Whatever combination created him also gave him an expressive face, a goofy personality, and enough opinions to fill an entire conversation. One of the things we love most about Riley is that beneath all those entertaining conversations is an incredibly sweet, affectionate little guy. He can be a little reserved when meeting new people or adjusting to a new place, but once he feels comfortable, his loving personality shines. His foster says he loves being with his people and really appreciates a calm, peaceful environment where he can relax, play, and simply enjoy being part of the family. Riley is currently fostered in a home with several other dogs and fits in beautifully. He's not the type that has to be in the middle of the action every second. More often than not, he'll happily sit back and watch everyone else wrestle and chase each other around before deciding it's his turn to jump in and join the fun. It's pretty adorable watching him carefully observe everything before announcing that he's officially ready to participate. When he's not busy supervising the other dogs or sharing his latest thoughts, Riley loves carrying toys around the house. Whether he's proudly showing one off or simply keeping it close by, you'll often find him wandering around with a toy in his mouth, looking quite pleased with himself. Riley is crate trained and is doing great with his potty training. True to his personality, he's also happy to let you know exactly how he feels about crate time with a few conversations from inside his kennel. Thankfully, they're usually just Riley being Riley. He has a lot to say, and apparently the crate doesn't change that. Like any young dog, Riley will continue benefiting from training, socialization, and plenty of positive experiences as he grows. He's smart, eager to engage with the world around him, and has the kind of personality that makes every day a little more entertaining. Riley isn't just looking for a family.
