As with any rescue puppy, his exact breed is always a mystery, but our best guess is he's a German Shepherd/Aussie mix. Whatever combination created him also gave him the cutest floppy ears, a playful personality, and a whole lot of brains to go along with all that puppy charm. Right now, life is pretty simple according to Sake... eat, play, nap, repeat. He's exactly what you'd hope for in a young puppy. Curious about everything, always excited to see what comes next, and ready to turn just about anything into a game. Whether he's carrying toys around the house, wrestling with his puppy friends, or happily exploring the backyard, Sake approaches every day with so much enthusiasm that it's impossible not to smile watching him. Sake is currently fostered with other puppies and has done wonderfully with both puppies and adult dogs. He absolutely loves having friends to play with and enjoys all the classic puppy games like chasing, wrestling, and zooming around the yard together. While he'd certainly enjoy another playful dog in the home, he doesn't need one to be happy. He's the kind of puppy that will happily make his own fun and would be just as content soaking up all of your attention as your one and only. One thing that's already becoming very obvious is just how smart this little guy is. Sake loves treats, is eager to please, and has already shown how quickly he picks up on new things. He's already learning how to sit and seems like the kind of puppy that's going to have a lot of fun continuing his training. If you're someone who enjoys teaching tricks, working on obedience, or simply watching your puppy learn and grow, Sake is going to be an absolute blast. Like any puppy his age, Sake is still learning all the important life skills. He's been doing wonderfully with crate training so far and is already comfortable spending time in his kennel. Every now and then he'll let out a few little puppy complaints, but honestly, for a baby his age, he's doing incredibly well. Potty training is still very much a work in progress, which is exactly what we'd expect from a 3-month-old puppy. Consistency, routine, patience, and positive reinforcement will go a long way as he continues learning. Because Sake is still so young, he's looking for a family that's excited about everything that comes with raising a puppy. That means continuing his socialization, introducing him to new experiences, helping him build confidence, and giving him the structure he'll need to grow into an amazing adult dog.
