If sunshine could take the shape of a dog, it would be Sasha Sugar. This happy girl has the kind of smile that never seems to leave her face and a presence that instantly lifts your mood the second you’re around her. She’s bright, joyful, and full of that feel-good energy that makes everything just a little bit better. The moment you meet her, she’s already leaning in, nuzzling close, and making you feel like you’re her favorite person in the world. Sasha Sugar isn’t just sweet, she’s the kind of dog that brings joy. The kind that has people smiling without even realizing it. She’s affectionate, friendly, and so naturally loving, with a personality that feels easy and genuine from the very start. Being around her feels like a good day… like laughter, warmth, and that “how did I get so lucky?” kind of feeling all wrapped up into one very special girl. Watch her video and fall in love with this bundle of love: Sasha Sugar is believed to be a pittie mix approximately 6 years old and currently weighs 57 lbs. Don’t let her pictures fool you, she is on the smaller side and the perfect size. Not too big and not too small. Sasha is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. One thing we do know about Sasha is that connections with her are instantaneous. When people first meet her, they immediately comment on how sweet and friendly she is. The most common thing everyone says is how much they love the way she leans and nuzzles into them for affection. Sasha is such a go-with-the-flow type of girl who is happy no matter where she is or who she’s with. It’s almost impossible not to immediately fall for her friendly and gentle spirit. Some would even consider her to be someone’s soul dog because of the way she makes you feel so special and important. Sasha has the type of personality that can and will make any day 10x better with just her mere existence. Sasha is very dog friendly, and the way she meets other dogs will absolutely melt your heart. She greets new dogs the same way she greets people, like she’s reuniting with a long-lost friend. You’ll notice in her video that when she’s given the opportunity to greet a doggy friend, she’ll pull on leash… just like she does to say hi to people. It’s friendly, joyful, and honestly so endearing. She just loves making new friends. Sasha has been around a variety of dogs of different sizes and personalities and did great with everyone she met. She was happy to be included and comfortable in every interaction. There was one dog she especially gravitated toward a smaller, life-of-the-party bulldog/frenchie mix and it was the sweetest, most unexpected little friendship to watch. You’ll have to see it in her video to fully understand. It’s one of those “okay, I’m obsessed” moments. While she makes doggy friends easily, Sasha absolutely does not need another dog in the home to be happy. She would thrive just as much being your one-and-only, soaking up all the love for herself. She also had the opportunity to meet our house cat, Biggie, and did great. She was respectful, calm, and didn’t chase, even when Biggie was doing his usual cat things. Biggie also felt comfortable around her, which says a lot. While we don’t know her full history with cats, we’re happy to arrange a cat test or sleepover if needed, just let us know! Sasha would make an amazing companion for walks at the park, backyard patio hangs, and cozy snuggles at the end of the day. Her ideal home would include a backyard where she can explore and soak up the sunshine, but she also has the potential to thrive in an apartment or condo setting. She’s medium to low energy and a quiet, easygoing girl. One thing that is non-negotiable in Sasha’s world? Sunbathing. She loves to lay out and soak in the sunshine like a little beached seal, and honestly… it’s one of the cutest things you’ll ever see. If you work from home, she’ll happily keep you company, quietly lounging nearby or laying at your feet (keeping them warm, of course). She may occasionally request a cuddle break, but honestly… you won’t mind. Sasha is a laid-back, sweet-natured girl with a gentle spirit and so much love to give. All she wants is a home of her own and people to love her the way she deserves. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t need to try too hard to be special… she just is.
