Sharky Kiss and Tell has a very misleading name for a boy whose favorite activity is giving kisses. He’s loving, snuggly, and happy to get close enough to make sure you know it. And he is so handsome! His mostly black coat has a little white with soft, medium-long fur, and the cutest brown tufts around his ears. Those little details deserve an up-close inspection, which Sharky will happily accommodate in exchange for some smooches. Go watch Sharky on YouTube to see this handsome boy making friends and handing out kisses. Copy and paste his YouTube link into your browser: Sharky is estimated to be just shy of two years old and weighs approximately 40 pounds. We believe he’s a Border Collie mix, though his breed and age are our best guesses. He does seem to have read at least a few pages of the Border Collie handbook, especially the chapter about playing with other dogs. He is great with dog friends and loves a good game of chase, whether he’s doing the chasing or inviting someone to come after him. His play can include some little nips as everyone runs around—a familiar habit for many herding dogs. A playful buddy who enjoys that style would be a lovely match, and his people should be comfortable guiding those herding tendencies as he settles into their home. With people, Sharky is all affection. He loves to snuggle and give kisses, so plan on making a little room beside you when it’s time to relax. He has plenty of fun to share with his dog friends, but getting loved on is very much part of his daily agenda. Sharky is also a wonderful car companion and has good leash skills. Seeing another dog on a walk can get him excited, but we found that excitement very manageable. Continued practice will help him keep polishing those skills. From what we observed, he is house and crate trained, giving him a nice foundation for life with his new family. If you love an affectionate dog with a playful streak and a smart-dog personality, Sharky would love to be yours. Fair warning: he may skip the formal introductions and go straight to a kiss.
