Siri Sue has the kind of face that makes you soften your voice and sit down beside her for a while. Those big brown eyes look up at you so sweetly, and when she gathers a little courage to scoot closer, it’s hard not to fall completely in love. This itty bitty pittie is a tenderhearted little girl who might take a moment to say hello, but that first gentle lean into your hand feels pretty special. Watch her video and fall in love with this sweet girl: Siri is approximately 1 year old, and our best guess is that she’s a petite pittie mix. Of course, with animal rescue, breed is always a bit of a mystery! What we do know is that this little girl has the sweetest soul. Siri can be a little shy when she first meets you. She takes a moment to watch, get comfortable, and decide she’s ready to come closer. Give her a little patience and gentle encouragement, and it doesn’t take long for her affectionate side to peek through. Soon she’s leaning into you for love and melting into your arms, looking up with those soft brown eyes as you tell her what a good girl she is. There’s such an innocent sweetness to her, and every little bit of affection she offers makes you want to hold her close a little longer. Siri is dog friendly and has done great with all the dogs we’ve introduced her to and is fostered in a home with another dog and a cat! She’s gentle and calm and when she does play she has a gentle play style. Picture this little sweetheart beside you in the yard, quietly enjoying your company while her dog friends provide the entertainment. She could be a lovely companion for a dog who appreciates a gentle, easygoing friend and we would like to see her in a home with another dog. Siri knows how to sit, and she’ll look up at you with those hopeful brown eyes while she waits for her snack. She loves treats, which will make learning together a lovely way to build her confidence and bond with her. She is crate trained and potty trained too and her fosters say that she has great house manners. This easygoing girl has the potential to do well in an apartment or a home with a backyard. A loving home where she can settle in at her own pace, enjoy a cozy spot beside you, and get plenty of gentle affection would mean so much to her. Imagine the little moments with Siri: her chin resting against you, her soft eyes following your face, and that quiet little lean asking you to keep petting her. All she wants is someone to love her, and once she feels comfortable, she has so much sweetness to give in return.
