Stella Bella is a gorgeous girl with a happy heart and a silly streak that is every bit as irresistible as her face. She’s ready to investigate a new trail, turn a stuffy toy into her own personal comedy show, and soak up all the love you have to give. Life with this girl comes with plenty of smiles! Stella is approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 49 pounds. Our best guess is that she’s an Australian Shepherd/Husky mix, but with animal rescue, breed is always a bit of a mystery. What we do know is that she is beautiful inside and out, with enough personality to keep you thoroughly entertained. Stella is very sweet, affectionate, and social. She loves being part of the fun and has that happy, curious spirit that makes you want to bring her along. Her gorgeous eyes might catch your attention first, but her personality is what will keep you hooked. She is dog friendly and has done well with all the dogs we’ve introduced her to so far. Stella is such a hoot when she plays, bringing a silly, happy energy to her friendships. Her playstyle falls right in the middle: she isn’t overly rough and rowdy, but she isn’t especially delicate either. A mutual game of chase? Absolutely! She reads her friends well and knows how to join the fun without becoming too much. A playful dog friend could be a wonderful match for her. This smart girl already has some lovely manners to bring home with her. Her foster considers her fully potty trained, and she hasn’t had any accidents in his home. She knows how to sit, walks well on a leash, and will be a fun dog to continue training with. She also loves toys, especially stuffies, and is perfectly happy entertaining herself with one. Watching her make her own fun is entertainment all by itself! Stella would thrive in a home with a backyard where she can run, stretch her legs, and investigate all the interesting smells. Apartment living could work for her too, with adequate exercise and plenty of opportunities to satisfy her adventurous spirit. Walks, trails, hikes, or a good play session outside would all be right up her alley. She would love a family who enjoys getting out together and giving that curious mind something fun to do. Stella also has potential to make a great family companion. Her foster has grandchildren ages 3 and 5 and reports that she does great with them. Her sweet, social nature gives her so much to offer a family who wants to include their dog in daily life.
