Toffee Tumblebean is a sweet, easygoing puppy with a playful streak and a particular talent for turning an ordinary afternoon into a whole pack game of chase with her in the lead. At ten months old, she is still growing, learning and settling into who she will be, but she already has the wonderful social skills and go-with-the-flow personality of a dog who could comfortably fit into many different kinds of homes. Go watch Toffee Tumblebean on YouTube and see this black-and-white cutie in motion. Toffee is fostered in a loving home with a wide variety of other dogs, and she gets along beautifully with the whole crew. She is especially fond of playing chase, but Toffee has no interest in being the one doing the chasing. Instead, she gets everyone excited, takes off running and happily lets the other dogs race after her. She loves being the star of the pursuit and seems quite pleased with her ability to get an entire yard moving. Beyond her playful side, Toffee is wonderfully easygoing with other animals. She watches the dogs around her, learns their rhythms and adjusts well to the household. We imagine she would settle comfortably into a home with canine companions, although she does not need a particular type of dog to show her the way. She is socially capable, adaptable and happy to become part of whatever routine is already in place. Toffee welcomes feline friends, and we loved what we saw when she met our house cat. She was polite and appropriately curious without becoming pushy. When he decided he was finished and walked away, Toffee respected the message and left him alone. That ability to listen and move on is exactly what we hope to see from a young dog sharing space with feline friends. She already has an excellent foundation for life as a house dog. Toffee is house trained, does very well in her crate, rides wonderfully in the car and has basic leash skills. She occasionally gets a little chatty in her crate, offering some soft whining or puppy commentary, but nothing her foster considers excessive. She is still young and will benefit from a family that continues reinforcing her training and helping her grow into a well-mannered adult. Toffee Tumbleweed is an affectionate, playful and remarkably uncomplicated young dog. She can romp with a group, politely share her home with cats, settle into a crate and happily join you for a car ride. Whether she lands in a busy home with animal friends or a quieter one where she gets more of the attention, we think Toffee will learn the routine, find her place and make herself very easy to love.
