Zia Sandy Sandia has already figured out one of life’s greatest luxuries: why sleep alone when there is perfectly good room in your human’s bed? This sweet little girl loves being close to her people and has the kind of affectionate nature that makes it easy to imagine her becoming someone’s constant companion. Watch Zia Sandy Sandia’s video below to see her sweet personality and loving nature in action: Zia is a small, scruffy little girl with an irresistibly cute face and the best little eyes. She has that perfectly tousled look that makes her even more endearing, and her petite size makes her just right for curling up close. She genuinely seeks out human connection and is absolutely lap-dog material. If there is a warm lap available, Zia is more than happy to claim it. She enjoys being near her people, soaking up affection, and feeling like she is part of whatever is happening around the house. Her foster has already been helping her build some great skills, and Zia knows how to sit and shake. She is crate trained, although given the choice, Zia is more than happy to trade her crate for a cozy spot in bed with her foster. She is the kind of dog who can settle into a routine while still making it very clear that cuddling with her humans is one of her favorite options. Zia is also good with cats and already uses a doggy door, giving her some wonderful foundations for life in a home. More than anything, Zia feels like a little dog who was made to belong to someone. She would be easy to picture following you through the house, climbing into your lap, greeting you at the end of the day, practicing her tricks for a little attention, and then curling up close when it is time to settle in for the night. For someone hoping to find a small, affectionate companion with a scruffy little face, soulful eyes, and a big love for her humans, Zia Sandy Sandia may be exactly the little girl they have been waiting for.
